My "New" Old Studio

I have been working real hard to get my studio re-opened. I used to have my studio opened and did my sewing in there all the time.  When our daughter died, we were left with three small children to help raise. Kyda was 6 months, Olyvia was 2 1/2 years old and Zander was almost 5. Being that little it was really hard to take them in and out of the house and into my studio, so I started sewing in the house.

Well, just before Spring vacation I mentioned to my husband that it was a shame that my studio was standing unused, except to store things in, and we made the decision to clean it out and paint it put decent shelving in and then I could go back to sewing out there.

So after a whole lot of cleaning, painting and arranging I am finally able to sew in my "new" studio. Our granddaughters who are now 8 & 10 each have a sewing machine, so we are putting them out in there so that they can learn to sew.

In addition to this, I have my Cricket, Silhouette, and Slice out there also, so now the kids and I can make cards, and since my Cricket and Slice can cut fabric it means embelishments on the clothes for both the girls and the dolls.

Oh and did I mention my Embroidery Machine? It is there too and now I can really enjoy it. Well that is about all that is happening in my little part of the world or now be back real soon.
