Craft Show!!

Went up to the Arts in the Park Show in Shoshone Idaho yesterday. Took the granddaughters and my husband Lee with me. We met my two best friends, Pam and Roxanna up there and Pam of course brought her daughter Regan with her. At the shows when Regan was a little girl she would appear magically in my booth and just kind of attatch herself to our daughter Amie Jo and go about looking at all the "fun" things at the show, now it is Regan who gets attatched to by Amie Jo's daughters. I kind of hope this tradition lasts a while.

Anyway back to the show--there were lots of antiques there, and jewelry I don't think that I have ever seen so many jewelry booths I think that I counted about thirty-eight booths including the food booths and out of those there were sixteen jewelry booths that were either completely jewelry or had at least some jewlry in them. Some of the wrapped stnes were absolutel beautiful, if I still wore jewlry all of the time Lee would definately be in the poor house--I have greaat taste the least expensive one that I likes was selling for $75.00 and they went up from there!! Lee is glad I don't wear it anymore too!

The weather was really good, but I have to tell you that I was glad that we left when we did which was about one o'clock because it can get really hot and humid up there. When we left it was kissing 90 degrees and it would only get hotter from there.

Another thing besides laughing and giggling with the girls and kids was that we didn't set up-we were just spectators-a little different for all of us.

The next show is in Bellevue, Idaho on Labor Day weekend. I don't know if I am going to do the show or just go up and spectate at that one too.  But I am definately going to do CSI Harvest Festival at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls at the Expo Center.  That one is going to be November 5th, 6th and 7th. I need to get busy sewing because I need to fill the booth and get the site filled too.

Oh and did I mention that there is a new shop in Paul Idhao called The Busy Bee Fleamarket and Consignment Shop? It is on HWY 25 in the Swenson shopping center and my things are there too. My machine needs to work even while I am asleep!!
