I have not been doing much this week about sewing for shows, although I have had plenty to do. My husband and I took the kids out camping over the weekend which meant unloading my van so we could go and then reloading when we got home. Well, when we reloaded I looked into all the totes as we put things back, and found that there is only one tote that is full. It is 18" doll clothes, that fit American Girl type dolls. There are no 15" doll clothes, that fit Bitty Baby and no Baby Doll clothes, a few aprons, but few if any other items of anything else. So being tired from the lake campout I have pretty much been doing nothing but watching the grass grow. But I digress.
Anyway, I have been bouncing around the blogs this week, and paid a visit to Whimsy Couture Boutique and found two other really interesting blogs. One is GROSSGRAIN and the other one is CREATIVEHEART. They both have two of the best shirring videos I have ever seen, and you can find all three of these blogs listed at the left. Now, I don't shirr all that much, but when I do I could not figure out what I was doing wrong. Now I know, not me, the machine.
I would like to thank all three of these fabulous bloggers for posting this valuable information to their blogs for everyone to see and re-blog for those who may have missed it on the other ones.
Well, I have some things to cut out so that tomorrow I can actually get to work tomorrow. Everyone have a great time in what ever you endevor to do and remember you can "FLY WITH FAIRY DUST"!!
Until next time.
